Alarms

The primary purpose of an alarm is to deter a burglar from choosing the site, to alert the police to an illegal entry and to assist in identifying and catching the criminal.

  • Alarm systems should be supplied by a licensed alarm company with a central monitoring station.
  • Check the alarm system daily and make it known that you have an alarm to deter break-ins.
  • The alarm needs to cover all points of entry into the building. It should also have a battery backup.
