Make Your Theft Prevention Message Clear

Make sure that each new employee goes through an orientation. An orientation of some kind is necessary in order to make this person feel comfortable. This orientation should include:

  • A tour of the business
  • An introduction to all staff and their titles
  • A training manual should be given to all staff, with the following information:

    oTimesheets, pay periods
    oTime off, vacation time, sick leave, how to go about asking for time off, emergency leave
    oChain of command, titles, phone number for staff members
    oProper code of conduct for employees
