Common Delivery Person Robbery Scenarios

Below are two typical robbery scenarios.

James had worked for a few months as a delivery driver for a local pizzeria. One night he was delivering two large pies to an apartment complex. While he was walking across the parking lot, three teenaged boys approached him, knocked him to the ground and made off with his cash, change pouch, and the pizzas.
James may have been the victim of a random attack. Perhaps the boys saw him drive up in his car, and knowing pizza delivery people always carry money, decided to rob him. On the other hand, it seems that Sylvia's attackers may have planned their crime more carefully. They were probably the ones who phoned in the order.

A Chinese restaurant received a call to deliver an order to an address about one mile away. Sylvia, the delivery person, soon got to the street, but she couldn't find the address. When she got off her bicycle to get a closer look at one of the houses, two men ran out from an alley. One of the men hit her in the back with a pipe. The other rifled through her pockets and stole her money.
