Protect Yourself

It is safest for drivers to keep the cash in the glove compartment or another container in the car. If drivers keep the cash on them, there is greater risk of physical attack and hard during the robbery.
An emergency button that triggers an alarm can be a good idea. The button should be placed so that the customer cannot see the driver trying to push it. It can be installed on the wheel and hidden as some other control button, or near where the cash is held (so that the driver can push it when reaching for the money to give it to the robber)
If a customer seams annoyed or aggressive, let them out of the car and do not ask them to pay for the fare. It is more important to avoid physical and possibly violent attack.
